ISO 37000: Organizational Governance System

ISO 37000 provides guidelines for the governance of organizations. Although it is not a certifiable standard—as it constitutes a set of guidelines—it aims to enhance effective and responsible governance in public, private, and non-profit organizations. The ISO 37000 guidelines are intended to support compliance with ISO 37001 (Anti-Bribery Management System) and ISO 37301 (Compliance Management System), as well as with Greek legislation.

ISO 37000 focuses on the implementation of governance principles to strengthen ethics and accountability within an organization. Despite being a guidance standard and not subject to accreditation, its application contributes to improving organizational management and operations, reinforcing organizational coherence and integrity. It is applicable to organizations of all sizes and types, providing tools to support compliance with legal frameworks, transparency, and accountability.
